Front Door Fellers are up for Adoption!
They just arrived off the hay wagon this weekend and are ready to go to work, greetin folks at your front door. They don’t even mind hangin out by the back door if that’s where you invite folks in.
Let me introduce you to the Fellers who are ready to start work immediately. (We have others arriving soon….but ya never know what kind of personality you’re gonna get. This first crew seems to be the cream of the crop!
LOUIS - Louis comes to us from a little town south of Omaha Nebraska. He’s been corn huskin’ and field watchin for most of his born days. He’s brought about his younger brother on his journey and has been showing him all his field watchin tricks. A born leader, you might say. Reckon him and his little brother will be ready as rain to hang out on your front porch for a spell.
CARL - This is LOUIS’S little brother. He’s been taggin along and learnin ever thing he needs known for field watchin. So his porch watchin may fair equal. He’s a quiet little feller and gets made fun of cause of his hat at times. But, he just keeps on a grinnin when folks come to callin. He should fit nicely behind your screen door. Folks will be happy to see his smile, guaranteed!
CHESTER - This stumpy feller has seen better days. Ya see….the old farmer that had him thought he needed to pound him on top of the head ever time a crow came to callin in his tater patch. Chester never said much about it and just kept takin the poundins. It did squish his hat down a smidge and since he’s got straw for brains, it hasn’t affected his thinkin too much. That old tater patch was perty dusty, so he looks like he could use a bar of lye soap and a hot spring of water, but if your guests aren’t too picky, they will find ol’ Chester to be quite the gentleman. Even with his dirtied up face.
